An exciting and unique venue and leisure/ entertainment project in London which the practice started work on in March 2018, opened its doors on 04 March 2020 with an exciting lineup of concerts and events.
We worked with London Venue Group to deliver Goods Way, a new multi-faceted entertainment & hospitality destination located in London’s Kings Cross. The design takes its inspiration and influence from the vibrancy and energy of New Orleans. A central Courtyard plays host to a number of independent food operators to include the likes of Breddos Tacos, Duck Truck, Temple Of Seitan, Pomelo and Sushi On Jones. The space also includes Sweetwater a New Orleans inspired bar forming the main drinking hole. All of which connect directly into Lafayette, the new 600 cap music venue. This is the second venue from the group who opened the hugely successful and award winning Omeara venue in London Bridge in 2016.
This exciting and unique venue which the practice started work on in March 2018, opened its doors on 04 March 2020. It has been widely anticipated and covered in the press including the NME, BBC, Billboard, Music Week, Time Out and The Evening Standard (see press clippings in this section). The first artist to play the venue was Mercury Prize winner Dave at a secret show by Apple Music.
